Founder and CEO Rhea Frankie dedicates Hats Off To Humanity to disenfranchised women and individuals. This organization is a beacon of light, signifying that there is hope as long as they never give up and continue listening to the voice within. This organization is shaped by countless courageous women in the past who bravely sacrificed their lives, reputations, and voices to make us a bit freer from the shackles of oppression. Hats Off To Humanity will hopefully help the most vulnerable to move from a place of disempowerment to fully embodying their sovereignty.
Rhea grew up in an area that normalizes gender oppression, still has ongoing wars, and possibly has undiagnosed invisible disabilities that increase their susceptibility to falling prey to predators such as human traffickers. For a situation to be considered human trafficking, it has to meet three core criteria. These core criteria are stringent and, most of the time, challenging to meet. The core criteria are what is done, where, and how it is done. A situation must meet at least one element or all of the elements of each criterion. All of these elements are using force, fraud, and coercion. Enacting the law of coercive control as domestic violence can protect many vulnerable populations, especially those like me with undiagnosed invisible disabilities such as dissociation, depression, ADHD, etc.

About Us.
Our story starts way back in 2018.
In 2018, Hats Off To Humanity was created to give away used and unused hats to children from impoverished areas who travel to school on foot.
In 2023, Hats Off To Humanity became a non-profit organization. Its mission expanded not just to distribute hats for children but also to advocate to end and prevent human trafficking.
